Style my day Hire Agreement
The hirer hereby unconditionally accepts the terms and conditions and acknowledges that its acceptance is a condition upon making a first payment and taking possession of any hire items, or service provided by the Owner and Style my day.
In these terms and conditions of hire, “Owner” means Style my day, “Hirer” means any person, company, corporation or Government agency, or its representative who shall hire goods and/or engage services from the Owner. “Items” refer to any goods or services that are being hired or used by the Hirer. “Hire agreement” means this document, it’s terms, conditions, responsibilities and liabilities of the Hirer. “Event” means the agreed time in which the items are hired or used for.
Liability and Indemnity
The Hirer assumes all responsibility for the Equipment from the time of delivery until collection by Style my day and is liable for all Equipment damaged or lost during this period. Insurance is not covered by the Owner, once the Equipment has left the warehouse location.
In regards to Hired items, all pieces are checked upon return and must be in the same condition as prior to dispatch.
Any charges made regarding damages, breakages, professional-cleaning costs, repairs or shortages will be invoiced accordingly and the relevant amount will be invoiced to the Hirer, due within 30 days.
The Style my day Owners decision as to the condition of the Equipment prior to dispatch and on return shall be final.
Styled events
Confirmation of booking. To confirm your event with Style my day we require an initial payment of $300. This amount is not refundable and is required before any work is undertaken on wedding design and styling ideas.
Once the invoice is confirmed we require 25% of the invoice to be paid. After this payment further changes to the invoice can be made after discussion and agreement between the Owner and Hirer.
The 25% first payment is non-refundable to cancellation, change-of-mind or change of date.
Final Payment
The balance of the invoice is payable 1 calendar month prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of the order.
Changes to orders and cancellations
Any changes to the invoice must be made 30 days before the event date.
Cancellations made less than 30 days from the event, after full payment should have been paid by this time and will not be refunded. If any of the invoice is still outstanding then the remainder of the bill must be paid in full as the cost is considered cost of lost opportunity to Style my day.
Images and Promotional Use
Upon acceptance of our agreement, the client is agreeing to the possibility of photos being taken of their wedding for use in advertising material, digital and printed.
Hire Only

We do not book in items without a first payment and we hate to disappoint, so we do ask that you respond at your earliest convenience.
Final Payment
The balance of the invoice is payable 1 calendar month prior to the event.
Changes to orders and cancellations
Please select your hire items and only lock them in when you are certain. Once we have received your first payment we do not allow items to be changed due to loss of opportunity
Inspection, Hire Period and Delivery, Pick ups and Set ups
NOTE: All props are used and therefore reasonable signs of wear and tear will show as they are continual hire items.
All hire items are thoroughly checked, counted and cleaned prior to delivery or before pick up. It is the Hirers responsibility to check all the ordered items immediately upon delivery or pick up, and must notify the Owner of any breakages, damage or missing items within 2 hours of receiving the items.
The Hirer must protect all items from the elements including, but not limited to rain, hail and high winds, plus keep the items secure from the time of receiving items until they re returned to Style my day. If delivery is required, with or without set up, the Hirer will ensure the site is safe and the Owner has easy access to the site.
